The Murfreesboro community garden has been in the center of town for 10 years. Located at 806 East State Street on a plot donated by Key Memorial Methodist Church, they welcome volunteers to join in on planting, harvesting and upkeeping every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Autumn Shultz, one of the founders of the garden, dedicates her own time and effort into this project along with long- time volunteers such as Jon Mychal- Heatherly and nine- year- old George.
